Day 1
Arrive Colombo

Meet & greet on arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and drive to Colombo which takes approximately 1 hour & 30 minutes. Check in at your hotel.

Day 2
In Colombo

Morning, city tour of Colombo visiting Pettah district and the harbor, the grand old colonial buildings in York Street and St. Peter’s Church, which was where the Dutch Governor had his quarters, and the Gangaramaya temple. The day can begin or end at Geoffrey Bawa’s former studio, now the Gallery Café. Afternoon, at leisure.

Day 3
Drive from Colombo to Kandy

After breakfast, drive to Kandy takes approximately 3 ½ hours. Enroute visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawela elephant orphanage has existed since 1975 and has grown to become one of the most popular attractions of Sri Lanka. Late afternoon, arrive Kandy and check in at your hotel.

Day 4
In Kandy

After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens.Afternoon, visit the British Garrison Cemetery – no ordinary cemetery and the Temple of the Tooth.

Day 5
Drive from Kandy to Sigiriya

After breakfast, drive to Sigiriya On your way you might like to visit the Dambulla Cave Temples which are located 20 minutes close to the hotel. Arrive Sigirita and check in at your hotel.

Day 6
In Sigiriya

We depart our hotel early this morning to climb one of the most astonishing sites in Sri Lanka. Sigiriya Rock - The 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress, a massive monolith of red stone rising 600 feet from the green scrub jungle below. Sigiriya rock is a UNESCO World heritage Site. Continue on approximately an hour and a half to Pollonnaruwa, and spend the afternoon exploring the 2nd capital city of Sri Lanka.

Day 7
Drive from Sigiriya to Trincomalee

After breakfast, drive to Trincomalee (approximate 2 hours). Trincomalee is a mystical port city which hosts the fifth largest natural harbor in the world. Now, a destination renowned for its stunning beaches and abundant marine offerings for snorkelers and divers, Trincomalee is a tribute to the significant diversity of the Sri Lankan tourism product. The discovery of seas ideal for Whale Watching has tagged Trincomalee as a must-see destination. Arrive Trincomalee and check in at your hotel.

In Trincomalee

Full day at leisure on beach.

Day 9
Drive from Trincomalee to Colombo

After breakfast, drive to Colombo approx. 5 hours or take flight. Late evening, transfer to Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport in time for your flight.
