Kingdom of Nepal is draped along the greatest heights of the Himalayas, bordered by China in the North and India in the South. This is a land of sublime scenery and some of the best walking trails on earth. Stunning ancient temples and pagodas can be seen in the capital Kathmandu. To the north is Pokhara, a trekker’s gateway to the breathtaking Annapurna range where winding paths link rural villages and yak pastures.
It is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of bio-diversity due to its unique geographical position and altitudinal variation. The elevation of the country ranges from 60 m at sea level to the highest point on earth, Mt. Everest at 8,848 m, all within a distance of 150 km resulting in climatic conditions from sub-tropical to Arctic.
